More Than Bread
It's not enough to get into God's Word, we need to let His Word get into us. "More Than Bread" is a podcast featuring Pastor Dan Nold from Calvary Church in State College, PA. It focuses on simply reading the Bible (with a few comments) in the hopes that listening to God's Word, learning from God's Word and leaning into God's Word will shape our hearts, minds, and souls to bring us life. As Jesus said, "We do not live by bread alone, we live by every Word that comes from the mouth of God."

When Lions Roar #16 -- Daniel 4:13-37 -- Thriving hearts are humble hearts!
We live in a turbulent, conflict-friendly culture that in sometimes is not very friendly to faith. The book of Daniel has much to say to us and our culture. And as I read Daniel's book, my hope is reinforced by Daniel's life. Because of Daniel's life, I believe that no matter what happens on election day (or any other day to be honest), the day after God will still be in control of whomever thinks they are in control. That brings a certain sense of hope and humility to my heart. Humility is where we will hang out in this episode.
Because thriving hearts are humble hearts!
