More Than Bread
It's not enough to get into God's Word, we need to let His Word get into us. "More Than Bread" is a podcast featuring Pastor Dan Nold from Calvary Church in State College, PA. It focuses on simply reading the Bible (with a few comments) in the hopes that listening to God's Word, learning from God's Word and leaning into God's Word will shape our hearts, minds, and souls to bring us life. As Jesus said, "We do not live by bread alone, we live by every Word that comes from the mouth of God."

When Lions Roar #32 -- Daniel 12 -- My prayer for you...
In the last few episodes, we’ve come back more than once to the importance of prayer, right? It’s fascinating to me that the two people most entrusted with God’s revelations about the end of time, the time of the end were both people of prayer; proven, persevering, you might even say gritty people of prayer. So as we come to the last chapter, the conclusion of God’s vision given to Daniel about the time of the end…I want to pray a prayer for you, for us. It’s a prayer based on the themes of the last 30+ episodes of Daniel. One of the verses that we did not actually look at that much, provides a bit of a refrain in my prayer. It’s the last part of Daniel 11:32, I like how they put it in the New King James version. "But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
So the refrain of my prayer for you is this, "When people know their God, they do great things." That's my prayer for you!
